The Carnegie Hosting Staged Reading of New Musical

The Carnegie Visual and Performing Arts Center is hosting the upcoming staged reading of Richard Oberacker“™s newest musical, THE SANDMAN. A dark and macabre piece based on the disturbed scribblings of E.T.A Hoffman, THE SANDMAN will make its first public appearance at the hands of an excellent cast, featuring Pam Myers, Bruce Cromer, Charlie Clark and Sara Mackie, with Van Ackerman providing narration. Ed Cohen directs the piece, which will feature Jamey Strawn and Richard Oberacker in a two-piano accompaniment, with original illustrations and digital and Foley sound effects to heighten the mood.

The reading is one night only: Sunday, October 7 at 7:30pm at The Carnegie. Tickets are $25 general admission,  $15 for theatre professionals and students. Details can be found on The Carnegie website at the following link:
