Panelists for the League of Cincinnati Theatres (LCT) have recognized costume designer Ronnie Chamberlain“™s work in Northern Kentucky University“™s production of As You Like It, one of Shakespeare“™s most beloved comedies.
Panelists praised Chamberlain“™s Elizabethan era costumes as “œbeautiful to look at, and the actors wore them comfortably, moving with ease. Against the simple set and limited props, the costumes shone and crafted a wonderful sense of time and place.“
As You Like It continues through December 8th (off Thanksgiving weekend). Tickets can be obtained online at www.theatre.nku.edu.
Nominations for LCT awards will be determined and announced at the end of the season and winners awarded at the annual LCT gala in the spring.
