Bob Fritzsch

The theatre community lost a wonderful friend with the passing of Bob Fritzsch. Bob and Evelyn have been involved with many groups over the years, beginning, we think, with CMT in the Indian Hill Days. He is a former recipient of the Mario Pitocco Award. For the past many years, Bob has been the set designer for almost all of Lebanon Theatre Company’s plays. In fact, he recently finished the design for our May show “Angel Street.” His health declined rapidly over the past three weeks. Here is the obituary:

Robert, age 84, loving husband of Evelyn Fritzsch (nee Woodall). Beloved son of the late Charles and Alice Fritzsch (nee Rebisso). Brother of the late Betty Andrews. Beloved father of Deborah (Ross) Cirincione, Robert (Christina) Fritzsch, Jr., and Steven (Yvonne) Fritzsch, grandfather of Nicole, Steven, Jr., Tina, Eva, Katie and Carrie, great grandfather of Kiara. WWII navy veteran, member of Lebanon Theatre Group as performer and award-winning set designer. Visitation at Vorhis & Ryan Funeral Home, 5501 Montgomery Road, Norwood, Thursday, December 22, 2011 from 6-8 PM. Funeral service on Friday, December 23, 2011 at 10:30 AM at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association . Condolences towww.vorhisandryan.com
