Cincinnati Shakespeare Company“™s “œTwelfth Night“ Earns 4 Star LCT Rating

Panelists for the League of Cincinnati Theatres (LCT) have recognized the Cincinnati Shakespeare Company“™s production of Twelfth Night with a 4 Star Rating.

Panelists recommended Twelfth Night, one Shakespeare“™s most amusing comedies, as “œa very fun production“¦well-performed and entertaining“¦hilarious“. The CSC ensemble was praised as a whole for their performances: “œa true ensemble work and I thought the entire cast meshed and fit together well.“ Heidi Jo Schiemer, costume designer, was also singled out: “œThe costumes really drew me in from the onset of the first scene. The colors were very vibrant and alive and complemented the direction of the piece very well.“

League of Cincinnati Theatre panelists evaluate productions on a 5 star scale and recommend shows at either a 4 star or 5 star level. Nominations for LCT awards will be determined and announced at the end of the season and winners awarded at the annual LCT gala in the spring.
