The Ensemble’s “Hands on a Hard Body” Earns 4.5 Star LCT Rating

ETCHardbodyimagePanelists for the League of Cincinnati Theatres (LCT) agree the Ensemble Theatre of Cincinnati’s production of “Hands on a Hard Body” is a 4.5 Star production.
The musical is the touching yet often comedic story of ten Texans, hoping to win a truck by being the last person to let it go.

One panelist notes “Rarely have I seen a cast so balanced. There is not a weak link. Everyone makes their characters believable human beings.” Another singles out “Charlie Clark’s Benny Perkins is terrifically aggravating.” Another panelists notes the show is “skillfully crafted and admirably directed by Lynn Myers.”

Tickets for “Hands on a Hard Body” are available at http://www.ensemblecincinnati.org/ or by calling 513-421-3555. The show runs through September 21.

League of Cincinnati Theatre panelists evaluate productions on a 5 star scale and recommend shows at either a 4 star or 5 star level. Nominations for LCT awards will be determined and announced at the end of the season and winners awarded at the annual LCT gala in the spring.
